They are the Kelpies, and if you have ever seen them, you will never forget them. Can you imagine travelling along the M9 Highway in Scotland, and being suddenly confronted by two huge horse head sculptures, each nearly a hundred feet tall? These are the Kelpies. Each is a marvel of engineering, created from 300 tonnes of steel. They are at once a monument to the long history of horse power in Scotland, as well as the steel-making industry that was once the driving economic force of the country. We have captured the image of the Kelpies on a sturdy, white ceramic mug for you to enjoy.
